The contract's not even signed on Cheryl Cole's US X Factor deal, but we can reveal that Kerry Katona's already set her sights on Chezza's swivelly chair on the UK version's judging panel.

After ditching hubby Mark Croft and maintaining her size 8 figure for almost a year, a source close to the Dancing On Ice star tells Now she's aiming high for 2011 and is planning to steal Cheryl's crown as the ‘nation's sweetheart'.


‘Kerry's come a long way over the past 12 months, but she knows she still has a long way to go,' reveals our mole.

‘After all she's been through she just wants to win people over again.'

So the 30-year-old mum of four has devised a scheme to raise her profile, cement herself in the public's hearts and minds and win Cheryl's old job.
